China Establishes Department for Low-Altitude Economy to Accelerate Industry Growth
With the rapid rise of the low-altitude economy, China’s National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has announced the establishment of a dedicated department to promote the sector's development. The low-altitude economy focuses on aerial activities within 1,000 meters, involving both manned and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and covers areas such as drone deliveries, aerial inspections, and agricultural spraying. According to CCID Consulting, the scale of China’s low-altitude economy is expected to exceed 670 billion RMB by 2024, with further growth anticipated in the coming years.
Several government departments are actively advancing policies to support the development of the low-altitude economy. The Ministry of Transport has issued the "General Aviation Airport Management Regulations," which provides policy support for the development of low-altitude infrastructure. Additionally, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has established a leadership group for the low-altitude industry, clarifying its strategic importance and promoting high-quality development. In collaboration with the National Meteorological Bureau and the National Data Bureau, China is also developing intelligent network systems to support the low-altitude economy’s growth.
Against this backdrop, our company’s innovations in drone systems and intelligent communication equipment are providing robust technical support for the rapid development of the low-altitude economy. Our products are already being widely used in industries such as agriculture and logistics, and we look forward to collaborating further with industry partners to drive the steady development of the low-altitude economy.
